Join Our Team:
Do you enjoy building strong customer relationships, solving inventory challenges, and working independently in the field? We're looking for an Inventory Solutions Specialist to serve as a trusted partner to our customers by managing consignment inventory programs and ensuring the right products are available when and where they're needed.
In this customer-facing role, you'll work directly at customer locations throughout your territory, overseeing inventory levels, conducting audits, replenishing stock, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the successful implementation of inventory solutions. You'll become a trusted advisor to customers while partnering closely with sales and operations teams to help drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage consignment inventory programs at customer locations throughout an assigned territory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct inventory audits, monitor product usage, and replenish inventory to prevent stockouts and support customer operations.
  • Build strong relationships with customer contacts and serve as the primary resource for inventory-related questions, training, and support.
  • Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities to improve inventory performance, reduce excess stock, and enhance service levels.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new inventory solutions, including site setup, product stocking, labeling, and inventory transitions.
  • Partner with sales, operations, suppliers, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful execution of inventory management programs.
  • Travel regularly within the territory to support customer locations, resolve issues, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, customer service, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to analyze inventory data and solve customer inventory challenges.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout an assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing consignment inventory, vendor-managed inventory (VMI), or inventory service programs.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a field-based or account support role.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and movement throughout customer facilities.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution environments.
